November 11 marks a day where we take time to reflect and remember. We take time to honor those who fought for our freedom. Sometimes we forget and take certain things for granted. We are free to go to our places of worship. We are free to vote. We are free to make our own decisions. So, how can we spend Remembrance day?

Halloween. Some people love it, others hate it, and yet some are indifferent. Even here at the hotel, each individual person on staff has their own feelings towards Halloween. So, why promote it? Why do a special event to “celebrate” Halloween? It’s all in the heart, our heart, for community and for family. 

Summer is coming to an end. What does this mean? Parents rejoice as their kids head back to school. Kids begin the countdown to Christmas break. Leaves start turning beautiful colors of orange, red and yellow. Ladies flock to coffee shops for pumpkin spice lattes and men get in those last rounds of golf before hunting season begins. Fall is around the corner.

At Roadhouse 52 Inn & Suites, we pride ourselves on having big, beautiful rooms, a clean hotel, and excellent customer service. We wanted to know what our guests thought, so we asked some regulars to share their experience.

Summer is almost here. It is finally warming up. Were you starting to wonder if it would ever get here? I don’t know about you, but I’m ready to get outside and enjoy the sun, the beaches, and check out some hiking trails. 

Spring is around the corner. Some days it doesn’t feel like winter will ever leave. May is approaching us fast, and with May comes a very special day: Mother’s Day. A day where we show moms how much we appreciate everything they have done for us. From changing diapers and wiping noses, to being a shoulder to cry on with your first heartbreak and waiting up late to make sure you made it back from that party safely. Moms are incredible. They are real life superheroes. 

So, you might be wondering, where did the idea for Roadhouse 52 come from? Why call it Roadhouse 52? Why do we have scripture on the walls? I will do my best to answer all your questions, and if I miss one, let me know.

Some of you have asked how we made it through the global pandemic the last few years. I wish we could say it was easy, but that would be a lie. Like most small businesses it was a struggle and we lost a lot of business due to restrictions. We had to be creative with how to get business. These are a few ideas we came up with.
