Things to do with Kids in Steinbach

No matter what time of year it is, there’s always something fun to do with kids in Steinbach. Indoor or outdoor, energetic or low key. We often get families with kids here at the hotel and they’re always looking for something fun to do during their stay. 

So, we have compiled a list of fun activities that are great for the whole family - no matter how old your children are. So, get your family and let’s plan your next trip to Steinbach.

Let’s Go Outside

Steinbach has some great parks. And they are used for multiple things. Across the highway from our hotel is a soccer park, but it also has a fabulous play structure for the kids to play on. They can climb, run, go down slides, or swing on the swingset. Plus there is so much space for kids to run around and play tag or kick a ball, or play some other made up game. We also have another park on Park Road near the aquatic centre. There is a dirt bike track, baseball diamonds, and a football field. And there’s a sheltered area that’s perfect for a picnic and parents to sit and visit while the kids play.

Splish Splash

As we mentioned, we have an aquatic centre with an indoor pool. Too cold outside but the kids want to swim? Book a time slot to go with your family and enjoy a fun swim in the pool complete with water slides. And in the summer they have a splash park outside that is fun for the kids, and an outdoor pool for everyone. I also hear they do birthday parties. So if your kids want a pool party, this is the place to reach out to. 

My Kids Are Older

Don’t worry. I’ve got you covered. We have a movie theatre near our Event Centre. Nothing they want to see playing? How about booking one of the escape rooms at The Puzzler. See if you can end up on the leader board….or even just escape. Or hit up the bowling alley and challenge each other, or work together and try out bingo bowling. You have some choices, even if you have older kids who don’t want to go play in a park. 

For The Locals

The Jake Epp Library often has some fun family activities going on from crafts to games to movies. That’s right, you don’t just have to be a book worm to enjoy the library. The Event Centre often has something going on as well, so let’s support it and check out some of the fun things. Sports events, concerts, and so much more. And keep an eye out for markets. Yes, kids enjoy these too. There really is so much to do and you don’t just have to sit at home. 

Get Out And Have Fun

This list is small compared to all the things you can do. If you don’t mind driving out a bit, there are great hiking trails in the area. No matter the season there is always something to do for the whole family. So gather the family, make a plan, and get out there and have a great time.
