For most of us, Christmas is the best time of the year. It’s a time to get together with family and friends, eat till we can eat no more, exchange gifts, and other fun Christmas traditions. However, there are some who dread Christmas.

We are really excited to announce that we are doing our first ever Experience weekend. The theme: Christmas. Everyone loves Christmas and getting ready for it can be crazy. So, we want to offer you a fun and relaxing weekend. 

Here at Roadhouse 52 Inn & Suites, we pride ourselves on how clean we are able to keep our hotel, and how well we are able to maintain it. Now, that doesn’t mean things don’t need to be shut down for repairs, but we do our best to make sure that anything broken is repaired quickly.

When you go to a hotel the people you interact with the most are the front desk agents. If there is a restaurant in the hotel, you’ll interact with the serving staff. Maybe you get to shake hands with the owner, or talk with a manager. 

Lunch and dinner spots can be easily mixed together. So, we decided to put them together in one blog.

One of the most asked questions we get at the hotel is where is a good place to eat. We have a list of local restaurants, but sometimes a big list can become quite overwhelming, especially if you’re not familiar with the area.

Lots of us stay in hotels at least once a year. Some need to stay in hotels a lot for work. We go on staycations, vacations, or may even need a hotel as a temporary home.

Dads. They teach us to ride our bikes, play sports, and fix things around the house. Dads teach us to drive cars, embarrass us with dad jokes, and are great examples of how men should treat women.

Mother’s Day is coming and we have another blog. Last year we gave you 3 ways to celebrate mom. This year, we want to do something a bit different. What is a mom? Is she just a woman who gives birth to you or is she much more?

Spring is upon us. Time to shake off the winter blues and get excited for warmer weather. At the hotel, we are getting excited for spring. No more shovelling snow, or putting salt out and hoping it’s enough to keep guests and employees from wiping out. No more roads closing because of snow drifts or blowing snow. No more having to plug in your vehicle so that it will start at the end of a long shift. To get you excited for spring, I reached out to the staff and asked them for their favourite things about spring. Here is what we came up with.
